England captain Harry Kane is confident of making Gareth Southgate’s squad for the Euro 2020 in the summer. The 26-year-old picked up a hamstring injury with Tottenham Hotspur at the beginning of the year and it was initially feared that he could be sidelined for around six months after going through a surgery.
However, the marksman has made a quicker recovery than expected and speaking to Sky Sports, he is confident of returning to first-team action with Spurs by mid-April. He added that he is confident of representing the Three Lions at Euro 2020 where they are regarded as one of the favourites to pick up the silverware. (more…)
