Lads any plumbers in the house???

Or anyone who knows anything about central heating and all that ****.

My circulating pump has just started making a noise, not dissimilar to a phone vibrating on hard surface.

We have switched the heating off but in this poxy weather we will have to switch it back on with two litluns tucked up in bed.

    Any suggestions/help greatly appreciated.

One of these if that helps.

erm ..... I am no plumber but some years ago , I had a similar problem , they are not expensive to buy and fairly easy to fit .

Can't you unscrew the brass looking screw on the front and squirt some engine oil in there for the time being ? , if you undo it you can see a screw inside there turning ?

On the left hand side as you look at the foto is a 3 position switch , try turning it down ?

Im no expert, If the pump is outside it may have frozen up, I would get a heating engineer tbh.

Right just switched the heating on to see if a few hours rest cured it........ Didn't..!!!

Switched it to speed 2 previously 3 and it was a lot quieter. So went for speed 1 and it went silent..........

Left it a minute and then went up to speed two.......... Silent.

Went for 3........... At the moment of typing..... Silent.

How easy to fit @Rev John Ripsher???

I am a pig tit fingered Neanderthal of the highest caliber.

Biggest achievement so far is a toilet cistern.

    Is this beyond me?
