Ok so the latest injuries have thrown some doubt into my mind as to how the squad will line up against stoke.
I am thinking one of the two below depending if harry wants to go offensive or defensive.

Most people have forgot charlie can do a job in dm role. Either way the injury situation has forced our hand.

I think Harry will go for the line-up which started against Blackburn, but with Crouch replacing the injured Defoe:

Well said THFC6061, but I'd like Harry to give Goodie a go. We didn't knick him from a medical at West Ham (lmao) for nothing so let's put him to good use.
he was free so its not like we need to be playing him to justify bringing him in. i would like to see more of a 4-5-1 however i think 'Arry (as stated by 60/61) will go with the 4-4-2 formation.
Ive said this before but 4-5-1 mjght be the answer for this game with Gudj being the main support to Pav, but I think Arry will go the same as last week, with Crouch in for JD.

Not much of a choice really with so many players currently out injured and a dozen or more out on loan.Agree with this mate but fook me look at that bench!
Worst comes to the worst, we've always got Joe Jordan and Les Ferdinand in attack, Tim Sherwood in midfield and Pat Jennings in goal.

We eventually did go the 4-1-1 with Gudjohnsen in the hole. It was nice to attack from the middle for once instead of just the sides.
