An interesting response to spectator misbehavior - the Turkish FA will impose a match ban on male fans over 12 as an alternative to playing matches behind closed doors. The first match to be played under these conditions will be Fenerbache's game against Manisaspor.

Super Tottenham! The Football World Is OURS!
@Fatboyyid
You can see from that photo that Turkey is not Saudi Arabia - although it is not a feminist utopia, it is far more liberal than many other countries that have a majority muslim population. I can't imagine that too many women who go about fully covered would be going to watch a football match and I have read that (as I thought they would) there were female security officers checking those who entered.
yep ..) need to saw the atmosphere

"good way for the single players to find a WAG...could be a halftime contest"

What an awesome idea.
I tell ya that could be a marketing stroke of genius.
Young kids and their mums getting to see a match for free, initiates a whole new generation of fans.
I say adopt it over here.
Actually this was a punishment given by FA to Fenerbahce due to its fans invading the pitch in a friendly against Shakthar back in July. Previously, the punishment was to play against empty seats. I really dont expect this kind of actions from English fans, so dunno how can it be adopted into Premier League.
However, they are doing something else too. A percentage of the stadium's capacity is bought by the FA and handed over to women and children in every match. This can be adopted, and I believe it's a brilliant idea.
