Just heard from the Italy v Kiwi game that the French team has refused to train today. Comedy act right here, someone from the French FA has also resigned....I'm sure more of the story will unfold, heard it was a public practice as well.

They probably don't feel it's necessary as their next opponents are Bafana Bafana.

There was a statement (on ITV now). Basically, they are not training TODAY in response to how the FFF had treated Anelka. So as Chiles said, back to training tomorrow?

Glad FIFA let france in so they could implode like this. kind of sorry to all you frenchies on here but Ireland would have put on a better show on the field and less drama off it than ya'll would have.

The French team were "gift of the magi'd" by the handball, the greatest gift turned out to be the worst.

Just seen the video footage of the incident....dom in the middle with the trainer on one side going nuts with Evra on the other (staying calm) then the trainer throwing his badge into the distance. Players faces looked lost and the team is in complete shambles
