to be fair james has been the best player in the nba passed years and right behind him kobe.

you can argue if kobe or james are better but for me james is the best individual in the nba.

What made a difference to kobe and james was that kobe won titles and james didnt because his team was no where near as decent as kobe ones.

And now james even has a decent team like kobe had for a long period of his career and now he can win the title every year like kobe

LeBron is a player that either you love or you hate, where as Jordan was a player that most people liked and appriciated.

Simply, put if you compare the first 8 years of Jordan's career to Lebron's first 8 years of his current career, Jordan all the way. Lebron MAY surpass Jordan in individual awards, and possibly NBA titles won, however he will never surpass Jordan in influence and legacy. Lastly, Jordan was able to achieve his success in less time compared to Lebron since Jordan actually played a few years in college.
