Villa skipper Grealish helped his club to secure promotion into the Premier League after his move to Tottenham Hotspur fell through. He was the main man as Villa escaped relegation from the Premier League in their first season back with the big boys. The midlands club escaped relegation from the English top flight on the final day of last season.

England international Grealish scored the crucial away goal for Villa in the 1-1 draw at London club West Ham United on the final day of last season. The point earned against the Hammers ensured that Villa stayed in the division ahead of Bournemouth.

Grealish was one of the best players in the Premier League until he suffered an injury in training earlier this year. The Englishman had a setback that took a few weeks before he made his return from injury earlier this week. He came off the bench in the second half of the home clash with European chasers Everton but could not do much to change the result. The two teams played out a goalless draw at Villa Park.

Grealish is on course to return to the Villa starting XI when they take on hosts Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this weekend.

Apart from Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, Grealish has also been linked with a move to Manchester United and Arsenal.
