AC MILAN AND TOTTENHAM BATTLE FOR YOUNG BRILLIANT STRIKER

According to multiple reports, Italian Serie A giants AC Milan and English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur are both eyeing a possible transfer for Fiorentina striker DusanVlahovic. Vlahovic has been able to work his way into the Fiorentina starting team and has cemented himself as the club’s first-choice striker since earlier in the season with a couple of great performances for the side.

In what is already going to be a remarkable season for the young striker, he has been able to score as many as 12 goals in the league so far this season. During the early days of the last month, a report surfaced that Tottenham were highly interested in the striker who they want to sign as a possible long-term Harry Kane replacement.

The London club are currently not impressed enough with Brazilian striker Carlos Vinicius who they have on loan, while star striker Harry Kane has continued to have his future at the club in serious doubt. Kane has been tipped by a couple of pundits to leave Spurs at the end of the season if he wants to improve his chances of winning silverware in his career.

TEAMtalk is now reporting that Tottenham will rival AC Milan for the signature of Vlahovic who is most likely to be heading away from the Italian Serie A club. Jose Mourinho is clearly in the hunt for a new striker at Tottenham and had already been lining up a couple of targets over the last couple of weeks ahead of the summer transfer window opening in a few months.

German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund are also said to be interested in Vlahovic, making it an even tougher competition for Tottenham to conclude a deal for the 21-year-old. However, as long as they can table a bid worthy of capturing Fiorentina’s interest, they may well be ok the right path to concluding a deal for the striker.
