PSG WANT TO SIGN TOTTENHAM’S DELE ALLI THIS JANUARY

In just less than three weeks after fully assuming the position as Paris Saint-Germain manager, Mauricio Pochettino is said to be plotting a move for Tottenham’s wantaway midfielder Dele Alli in January. The midfielder has been sidelined by current manager Jose Mourinho and has reportedly been told by the Portuguese manager to look for another club he will be joining this January or in the summer.

Pochettino is an admirer of Alli with whom he shared a cordial relationship during the Argentine manager’s time at Spurs before being sacked. And now, Poch is said to want a reunion with one of his favourite players when he was the manager at Spurs.

According to reports, Pochettino wants Alli on a six-month loan deal which is expected to include the option of signing him permanently. While Mourinho believes there’s nothing tangible Alli can bring to the Tottenham team, Pochettino believes he knows how to bring out the best from the midfielder and wants him to be his very first signing at the French capital.

The former MK Don’s midfielder is said to be very interesting in the move and wants to move away from the London club where he has now been seen as an outcast. He has made just four appearances in the Premier League this season under Jose Mourinho, while also playing a further six games in both the Europa League and the League Cup.

Tottenham manager Daniel Levy is of the opinion that Mourinho will be needing the entire players in his squad ahead of the hectic fixtures coming thick and fast but the former Real Madrid boss believes he can do well without Alii being a part of his team. The next few days will reveal how well talks progress between both teams, and whether a deal can be agreed.
