If you've seen the ITK thread, I posted a quote from an ITK regarding some players, one of them Scott Loach. We've apparently enquired about him again, just like we did back in January of this year. Thoughts on him guys? ive seen him play twice, for England U21's & Watford (fa cup game vs chelsea last year) - Ive never really been that impressed however 'Arry seems to be keen on him.

I wouldn't spend £3m on a number 2 keeper that is not proven at Premier League level, no way!

People say £3m is not a lot of money!! I'm sorry, its sh!tloads. This is the world we live in now, where £3m is considered pocket-change! Its not

I know that people mean it in terms of the amount we spend on other players, but goal-keepers are different. Gomes cost us between £7m & £9m depending on who you speak to & that is an awful lot for a goalie, & he had played in a CL semi-final & kept record clean sheets in the Dutch top flight.

Paul Robinson, who had World Cup experience & played his whole career in the Premiership & we only got £2.5 for him, why Levy then sanction more than that for a youngster with no experience as a number 2?

Spot on bass bearing in mind we could get DJ in a heart beat for fook all.

He is a top draw keeper and probably Englands number one for the upcoming world cup.

I have to agree 100% with Bass here. Also, I dont think we should be looking at a promising keeper, as in a year they will demand to be in the team (Ben Foster at United for example). I think we would be better off looking at David James or Timo Hildebrand on free's
