Kuranyi has too many periods where he does not score. This period ends by scoring 3 goals in one match and then the next period begins! That's not really what we need.

Crouch is NOTHING like Kuranyi. Tbh, I have NO idea why I'm defending Kuranyi because I've never really thought him particularly great & I agree with our German friend. Thing is, you can't argue against goals & whenever & however he gets them, his stats speak for themselves. Crouch will not get us more than 15 Prem goals in 1 season, neither will Farfan as it goes, but Kuranyi might. In fact, he probably will. He guarantees goals & that is invaluable to us right now.

Having said all that, there are WAY better out there. It is just that, with his contract up & Schalke's firesale, he will probably come on the cheap & whatever you think of the guy, his CV is exceptional to look at (WC & CL experience, 1 in 2 average maintained thru a long career, Schalke's top-scorer every season he has been there bar 1, etc) & for the price he is likely to go for I can just see many teams picturing a bargain.
      Jan Vertonghen!
      Vertonghen is his name!
      Spurs will never ever-ever,!
      lose again!
