I've been learning about stem cells in biology at school, and it could be done. My Biology teacher was telling us that his Proffessor at University could be in for a nobel prize, because by using stem cells he created a 'flat' version of an eye in a petri dish. Then he had an idea that if it was sent into space it would somehow turn spherical, much the the planets did. So its been sent up with a space mission and if it works he could be the man to 'invent' eye transplants. Amazing stuff really, its like how a lizard can grow back its tail if it gets cut off.
Football is my religion,
White Hart Lane is my church.
i like him and at 6 million he would be a steal.knowing our club he would trip up just after signing and break his arse bone and be out for 6 months, what age is he now,hes probily still young it just seems hes around a good while
i think upson is 29, but he is looking like a really solid centre half now, looks more at home on an international stage with every game.
Can't smile without you

That Bobbit guy will be thinking - i wish i was a Lizard
DOLT trust me
Spot on mate used to play against him at school.
I think he would be a very decent signing at 6/8 million.
I agree with berbs that we should be looking long term and be prepared to spend proppa money on a player that could/will develop into a Kingesque replacement.
I know nothing of the up and comers (enter bass) but we should be looking to shell out 10-15 million on one of them and moulding them into exactly what we need.
Oh and stem cells............................................. . what a piece of p1ss, who hasnt made an artificial eye and sent it into space ffs!!!!
GET OVER IT!!!

Would be a great signing no doubt but what happens if (albeit a big if) Upson, King, Woody, Daws and Bassong were all fit, could be money better spent IMO
Upson's fitness record has improved greatly and he has class so I would be happy for him to join the ranks but I feel there will always be a problem for us signing players from rival london clubs and that worries me with Arry also looking at Anton Ferdinand( I noticed not a mention in any of these posts)it would appear that once a player moves from the capital he can then come back later to any club with little or no fuss(Arsol Campbell excluded)I feel arry may well have it wrong with AF, he often goes missing and his reading of the game frightens me, surely Daws is a better bet long term, he is still learning his trade and at least he gives 100%+ every game. Where do you find players like that? We have had this CB problem for quite a while certainly before HR arrived and yet the club has failed to address the problem, so is it that we are obsessed with buying midfield and strikers? Look at all the top clubs in Europe and all have a solid defence(including subs) After all it's not rocket science is it? the back four is any teams foundation and with out it you can't move forward, in my opinion we should play LK whenever he his able so players like daws can learn from him and only go for any truly proven class defenders and break the bank to secure their services.

Bellamy slapped a transfer request in because of that policy , and the reason we didn't take Bellamy was because of the gentlemans agreement betwween HR and M Hughes where we landed Palacios - but should Harry have favoured Bellamy he would have got him .
When the right money goes on the table , it doesn't matter who's buying = the deal goes through .
