KPB and O'hara to Portsmouth

Just watching the yellow ticker tape on Sky Sports news, KPB has signed a 3 year deal at Pompey!!!!

If we got £4 Million for him then we should be on Crimestoppers!!!!!!

Great bit of business, hopefully one of Muntari, Sissoko or Veloso coming in and Jenas slinging his hook!!

Veloso may be a possibility now that Sporting Lisbon are out of the Champions League!!

Personally i think Muntari is the favorite what with Mourinho taking an interest in Jenas and Muntari having played for 'Arry before....

JOH only just signed a new deal after the CC final last year didn't he ......

Moving to Pompy on loan will be a good move for him, he'll be right up there, more then likely first choice and get alot of game time which is good for us aswell. The guy is a great professional and deserves to play, something he can't do to frequently with us at the moment.

I have a sneaking suspicion that KPB and Jenas are going to be moved on and a first choice "alonso-esque" player and sissoko will be shipped in. 'Arry wont bring in Sissoko as the answer to our midfield, he be there as third choice imo, too young and unexperienced to come straight into the first team.

I have this 'great' feeling that Tottenham are gonna abandon Sandro and pay the money for Sissoko.

I'm so glad we haven't sold JOH, as said he is a great professional and bleeds lillywhite. He has the ability & leadership to come on and turn games. I know I'm using Burnley as an example here, but sometimes it's those sort of games which can be more difficult to win.

i see big things for jamie in the long run. could end up being our lampard or gerrard in years to come. keep your nose to the grind stone lad!

i really wish i agreed and he was as i love the lad, but i can't see him being much more than a handy squad player for us

Jamie O'Hara has signed a new contract, committing his future to the Club until 2013.
The midfielder made his First Team debut in December 2007 at Portsmouth and has since made 56 appearances, scoring seven goals.

Odd news here. As soon as KPB started to get a look in with the first team with impressive pre-season and carling cup games, he leaves. Oh well he'll do well at Pompey.

I don't see O'Hara becoming our Lampard or anything like that but he shows promise. By the sounds of things we'll be getting a replacement in soon so O'Hara on loan seems like a decent deal. As long as we can recall him if a few players get injured.

Really happy to see that it doesn't look like O'Hara will leave. Even if the rumour was just a loan deal I think he's the kinda player we really need. A true professional and a great squad player who gives 100% every time he enters the pitch.

Have we got some sort of secret arrangement with Portsmouth which enables them to have a first shot at bidding for our players? KPB, Defoe, Kaboul, Pedro Mendes...

haha yeah; i am getting carried away a bit at this stage. but potentially i see him as being yid through and though (despite his shady past), and growing with the club (in the same way ireland is now with city; lampard did with chelsea and gerrard has with liverpool), could mean that he could potentially be our equivalent in future years!

comparatively to huddlestone and jenas anyway; who don't seem that bothered to be playing for us. i really believe that jamie gives his all for the club and that over time (i.e. as he moves closer to 30 which is supposedly the prime for midfielders); his commitment will result in achieving his potential with us.

his main problem is that he's a bit of an all rounder; and isn't really the best at anything at this stage. but with experience and his drive he will improve.

just look at who was keeping him out of the team last year. zokora; everyone has improved so much its hard to believe where we were, and harry seems to have alot of faith in the lad.

but maybe he'll end up at fulham in december!

you don't need first shot to sign Kaboul and KPB! lol. Why don't they hire Comolli?
