This was actually reported days ago on Brazilian websites. Bit slow from Sky Sorts and things have developed more since he actually said that.

We have obviously had that first bid rejected but our second may be enough to bring him to the Lane either this window, highly unlikely, or the next window, likely.

I just picked this up from the Daily Star:

A deal for the captain of Brazil’s Under-20 side has moved closer and now the only question left is whether the move will be done before Tuesday’s transfer deadline – or during the January window.

The midfielder, 20, would need a work permit but the case for one will be helped by his promotion to Brazil’s senior squad.

The deal will also give Spurs first option on Internacional’s future discoveries.

In the past, Inter have produced players such as AC Milan’s Alexandre Pato and Brazil centre-half Lucio.

My source inside Tottenham tells me that its likely Sandro will arrive n January or next summer due to his Work permit problems, take this as a pinch of salt or whatevr, but the source is usually reliable stuff.
