I even think that Hudd is more important than Sandro but i will probably just earn critics for saying so.

I would also like to see us get Parker. I think he can play an important role in our quest to get into top 4 again. Sandro is going to be our Essien, but I feel it's too early to push all our hopes on him right now.

No, I agree Thudd is better than Sandro at the moment but I think Sandro will eventually surpass him.

I agree with you, but unfortunately we are the minority. Before his injury there was posts on here claiming his was our most important player and close to being world class. Now I see lots of fans suggesting he be sold. I guess that's just football.
If ever there was a confidence player, it is big Tom. Could you imagine the flack he will get from here if he had a bad game while "world class after 6 months Sandro" is on the bench???!! He would be destroyed.
Well I agree with you about acquiring Parker....JD? Not for me! Time for him to move on and be replaced by a top proven striker like Karim Benzema.
the thing is defoe cant take being on the bench i'm sure he will score goals if he moves but i think we need a bit better than him.
Parker - absolutely. Why anybody would quibble with a player with that mentality and that quality for the price they're talking is beyond me. We don't have to talk about him replacing anyone, it's about squad depth and rotation, particularly with the Europa League campaign ahead.
Hudd v Sandro - I don't think there's a lot of point in comparing really. They're very different types of player, just like Modric is different to both of them again. I would say, at this point, they're both as important to the club as each other. Thudd is more experienced and I would say that, at the start of next season, the starting spot alongside Modric is his to lose but, as mentioned above, we need depth for rotation and for tactical versatility. All 3 CMs (and Parker if he comes) bring different attributes to the pitch.
Defoe - 6 weeks before the end of the season I would have said that he was the one to keep of our four strikers but, tbh, since his statements towards the back-end of last season I'm not so sure. Wherever he goes he will score goals, for sure, and if I thought he could be a squad player in our team and live with not being a starter every week I'd say keep him but he can't and he won't and there's not a lot of point in pretending otherwise. He's got the abilities but not the attitude IMO.
Agree about Thudd, we really missed him while he was injured. Sandro looks like he will be a great player for years to come but IMO Thudd just edges it atm, his distribution is outstanding.
Would love to see Parker at spurs, gives us another dimension and four great options in CM.
Defoe - would like to see him stay and rediscover some form - he is a yido after all - but like others have said I can't see him happy not being in the first 11 every week.
You all talk about 3 CM Modric, Huddlestone and Sandro. You forget we have Jenas. LOL![]()
If Harry learned how to rotate players like the other big clubs Parker would be a great sighning . But he prooved last year that he picks he's fav everyweek . If vdv is 30% fit. He'd be picked can't remember a game were he come of the bench ? If we sighned Parker he would bench Lennon and play bale on the right modric on the left thud and Parker in the middle mark my words lol

I'll never get bored of watching that sandro goal.
I think personally signing Parker - would take us a step back.
Hudds and Sandro - are fantastic - unfortunately Hudds has been injured this season...
Parker has turned down Fenerbace apparently.
