I dont agree tbh carrick didnt sh*t on us, we got a bloody good price.
Its players like berba........
When we reject the bid and then he sulks thats whats wrong.
Some players dont always get there move but they still give there all for the club. I would like to beleive if we didnt give carrick his move he would of still been a model pro for the club!
My favourite spurs player!

Listen, United cannot offer the sort of money we would want for Modric. Harry will not sell anyway.
I don't have a problem with players who leave clubs after 4 or 5 years & if that is what Modric or anyone wants to do, then fine. However, I do not like it when players sign 5 year contracts & then want to leave after just 1 or 2 years just because of a bigger club.
This will not happen in this instance. We don't need the money & we have seen only too clearly how badly selling our best players will effect us. Modric is 23, Lennon is 22, Palacios has just turned 25. All of them have plenty of time to play out a decent portion of their contracts here at Spurs & still move onto a more successful club in the future if they still want to.
However, as long as they still have a year or more on their contracts Harry will say no way to them moving on & can you really see Modric or Palacios having a Berbatov hissy fit? They are too professional to do that & Harry commands too much respect. Harry is not Ramos, the players all love him.
I cannot say what will definitely happen in the future but all I know is that, so long as Harry is here, so long as they are having an important impact on our 1stXI & so long as they are on long contracts, nobody is going anywhere
Jan Vertonghen!
Vertonghen is his name!
Spurs will never ever-ever,!
lose again!

the major thing in our favour is modders saying why the fook would i move im just settled here.he seems to be a one club man.it took alot for us to get him i the first place, and with charlie here as well hes really settled in.the only problem i see way down the line,is if charlie moved out of london
If we don't give our top players the success they crave, they WILL move on to bigger and better clubs, its inevitable. It's why archibald went to barca, klinsmann returned to bayern, waddle went to marseilles, berba and carrick to the mancs, and campell to them.Money is not the only motivational factor in transfers, these players are megarich already ffs. They all make the right noises, but bottom line is they are the clubs employees,we can't expect them to have the same loyalty and love for the club as we do,it's just naive and unrealistic. And like any other employee not happy in the workplace who think their ambitions can be realised elsewhere, their gonna move on.The only lasting loyalty in football these days is from the fans to their respective clubs. We love this club by choice, players don't,when they've left for pastures new,we will still be here, same as usual. We really need to be playing champs league football soon, and on a regular basis if we hope to keep our very top players. If not,you just know the vultures will be gathering again, and we will be back to square one,and in yet another period of transition. And we've all had enough of them to last a lifetime.
I'm not against players moving for better things, just the way they do it and who they go to. I know he is an ex-goon but Flamini is a quality example. He would not move to another English club as to not sh!t on the goons and to show a bit of loyalty to the club, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that imo.

Harry Redknapp Calls For New Tottenham Hotspur Contract For Luka Modric
The Spurs boss has reaffirmed his stance on the Croatian midfielder
Aug 26, 2009 8:22:21 AM
Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp believes chairman Daniel Levy should move to offer Luka Modric a new contract as quickly as possible.
The Croatia international emerged as the subject of speculation surrounding a possible move to Manchester United this week, with Michael Carrick returning to White Hart Lane as part of the deal.
Red Devils manager Sir Alex Ferguson has spoken to Redknapp of his admiration of Modric, but the former Portsmouth boss shrugged off the rumour and reiterated his stance on the player.
"If I was the chairman I would be looking to tie him up as soon as we can," he said, according to The Daily Mirror.
"He's an amazing footballer. I want to keep him here."
Modric, meanwhile, declared his loyalty to Tottenham on Tuesday, stating he has no thoughts regarding anything other than staying with the club, which could lead to him signing a new deal shortly.
The midfielder has received high praise after his dynamic start to this Premier League season, already showing more consistent moments of class than in his debut bow in England during the last campaign.
