McGeady would be a very good buy as a replacement left winger for Modric. He would make a good cover player and would add good depth to the squad.

Why are you comparing McGeady to Sissoko & Brown? He's a proper LW, not a CM, & can play with both feet.
imo, McGeady has a ton of potential that he has not yet fully realised. I think he could become a superb player under the right sort of guidance & he would certainly be able to give us another dimension, especially down the left.
When McGeady is on song he is a terrific player & is can be a match winner. He is still quite young, which might explain some of his disadvantages, & he could still develop into something very special
I think playing under Strachan has doe him no favours. Gordon himself can be very abrasive & is not the sort of manager to put his arm around players. Harry might be just the sort of tonic McGeady needs to move his career forwards now.
McGeady uses both feet with equal aplomb. he can play lLW & is happy going down the outside or cutting inside & does the same on the right also. That is partly what makes him such an interesting proposition as defenders cannot be sure which way he'll go.
I think he could be a good solution. He wouldn't necessarily demand an automatic 1st team place, allowing us to play Modric there, but he would give us plenty of new options.
McGeady has looked in particularly good form this season &, altho I did not see it myself, he was apparently Celtic's highlight of their defeat to the Scum the other night

Watched Mc Geady play a few times for Ireland played well one game alright next game then dropped for Stephen Hunt.If you get droped for Hunt you r not going to get into spurs 1st eleven
Too inconsistent imho
If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs and blaming it on you ... you probably haven't a clue what's going on!

Aiden McGeady is eager to leave Celtic, says Neil Lennon as Birmingham, Aston Villa and Spurs circle

Celtic manager Neil Lennon has admitted for the first time that Aiden McGeady wants to quit the club.
The Parkhead winger recently changed agent in a quest to win a move south to the Premier League.
And Lennon, who was last night stepping up his bid for Nottingham Forest defender Kelvin Wilson, believes Celtic are facing a losing battle to hold on to the £10million-rated player.
Wantaway: McGeady
As Sportsmail revealed, Spartak Moscow want the Republic of Ireland international.
However, coach Valeri Karpin has all but admitted defeat in his quest to sign the 24-year-old, despite leaving a bid in excess of £9m on the table.
Birmingham, Aston Villa and Spurs will now squabble for McGeady’s signature.
Lennon admitted: ‘Aiden hasn’t said to me he wants to leave in so many words. But, I mean, the initial vibe came from his side of things.’
McGeady failed to jet off on Celtic’s North American tour, which began with a match against Philadelphia Union early this morning.
The influential midfielder has stated his desire to play in England and that remains his most likely destination, should any club prove willing to meet Celtic’s valuation.
But Lennon has dismissed the conspiracy theories surrounding McGeady’s absence from America, insisting he is suffering from the effects of a thigh injury.
‘It’s a genuine injury,’ insisted the new manager. ‘He picked it up in a closed-doors game last Saturday and came off.
‘We left it until Sunday to see if it settled. It didn’t, so we felt that if we were looking at 10 days, travelling would only make it worse.’
Meanwhile, Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Keiren Westwood, 25, is on Celtic’s transfer radar as Artur Boruc prepares to join Fiorentina.
The Coventry No 1 has only a year left on his contract and recently rejected a new deal.
Lennon and John Park both watched Westwood in action for the Republic at the end of
last season against Paraguay and Algeria.
Sheffield Wednesday’s Lee Grant has also been interesting Celtic.
