Unrealistic .... Not sure what that means, players move for all sorts of motives, money probably comes first but not always, the Americans could pay higher salaries than any European Club (so could a Russian team or two) but they wouldn't get all the world's top players, remember they have tried. Therefore it's no just money, maybe playing CL is important but there are many many World Class players not in CL teams. So you are left with location, by that I mean facilities for individual and families, and the buying club's Chairman, Manager and Stature.

Spurs are still viewed world wide as a great club even if we are not 'top four', London is a great world city, we have an active Chairman (remember Modric) and an experienced Manager so 'unrealistic' why? I wouldn't be at all surprised to see at least one more quality signing before the transfer window closes .... beating Liverfool so comprehensively will have helped as well.

Don't be fooled by transfer gossip, when I was more involved in the media it was common practice for the sports guys to 'create' transfer stories over a few beers ... pretty sure this still happens.
