My only issue with Petrov, & I'm guessing it is why City released him, is that he spends more time than Woodgate in the Physio room
      Jan Vertonghen!
      Vertonghen is his name!
      Spurs will never ever-ever,!
      lose again!

The Martin Petrov of 2 seasons ago was awsome and it's a shame to see injury ruin such a gifted players best years. He has suffered one too many serious knee injuries unfortunatly. He still has quality but he will not be staying in the prem league. If we are to believe the rumors he is off to the MLS.

That was a good few month back. DOH!

But in all fairness mate he was past his prime then too. I mean don't get me wrong. On a free you can't exactly go wrong. He also isn't one of those City players on monster wages so he wouldn't even cost big there.

But as i say he said himself a couple of weeks ago he was off to the MLS. It was on the radio but i can't find it online to post a link. I'll keep looking but the way he was talking it was if a deal was already done.

We shall see though. I think both Wet Ham and Rangers are both after him also but it seems he has already msde up his mind.
well being a celtic fan as well i deffo dont want to see him at rangers thats for sure.i think he might suit us because of the fact he would have bale bombing by him with his pace, hes a good crosser too and not bad on a set peice.i really liked like before he signed for city so i might be letting that cloud my judgement and you have seen alot more of him this season than i have,so ill bow to your knowledge on him,id still take him on a free though hes better than fooking jenarse, the sooner you lot sign him the better hee hee

Whoever gets Petrov will have got a good player for sod all. But there is a reason we didn't renew his contract. If he stays in England it will be at a mid table club imo. I'm pretty sure he's off to the states though.
a lot of it has to do with the catholic/protestant divide in a way.....a lot of irish north and south have grown up cheering on one or the other a lot of them its more through a hate for the other rather than a love for the one ur supposed to support......most of the people i know follow rangers rather than actually support them the way they do there english or irish clubs......me personally i think they are both bollox and i wouldnt waste my time with them but ire is a devout celtic fan so im sure he has a different perspective on it....
Oh - you want me to watch my mouth, how?
Take my fcukin eyeballs out, and turn em around?

catholic and prod thing mate.imigrants from both sides moved to scotland in huge numbers.i think rangers were founded first and then an irish christian brother started celtic, ever since then its been one or other from our point of view.i had a season ticket for spurs and celtic for years and as a teenager got caught up in all that bollox.
i see it now for what it is,a means for bigots and fookwits to blow off some steam.i still love celtic but its purily for football reasons, and thank god these days its the same for most of the fans on both sides, its just a pity a few cnuts ruin it for everyone

Big no. If it wasn't for injuries i'd say yes, but having woody and ledders is inconvenient enough!

I wont dare say i know much about the age old troubles in the Emerald isle. But what i will say is if Celtic and Rangers are being used to further hatred then thats very sad. I had no idea it was about that. I'm glad you're a big enough fella to see through all that hatemongoring mate. Nice one. People are people at the end of the day.

Plus they are Scotish clubs. I'm very suprised the locals stand for that shit. Those Glasgow lads are nuts
theyre the one keeping it going mate, its handed down through the families and its worse over there because half the cnuts have never set foot in ireland or the north the fookwits.rangers had a no catholic rule all through the years right up to mo johnston which when you think about it isnt that long ago.tbh now its mostily plastics these days on both sides ,big mouths and no trousers, alot of them carrying blades and would think nothing of slicing you up in a heartbeat
