Roma could reignite their interest in Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko.
The Russian has fallen down the pecking order at White Hart Lane after the arrival of Peter Crouch, Robbie Keane and Jermain Defoe this year.

Harry seems to have ended any rumours of a Pavlyuchenko exit by saying:

"I want to keep 'Pav' here, I think he's a great footballer, very technical and last season was his first in the Premier League, he'll only get better,"

Harry is notorious for saying 1 thing & then doing another but I just have a feeling, as I have had the whole time, that Pav will still be here for next season

Will be interesting to see how Pogrebnyak performs at Stuttgart as many feel we should of signed him instead of Pav. As far as I'm aware he certainly is held in a higher regard than Pav in their homeland!

Pav will defo stay afta we missed out on Huntelaar. Not a problem in my eyes, i will always support the guy as i have done from the start and i think Pavs is a very good back up who will nick the odd gol.

i like pav,i think his movement is fantastic....finishing can be iffy but i think he will prove people wrong and score goals for us and alot of them.

Yeah Bass 'Arry says a lot of stuff that he doesnt mean. I watched the press thing on Sky with him and Crouchy. I didn't really believe that he rated Pav when he answered the question. I personally do, I hope all these exit rumors r rubbish and we get a chance to see what the big russian can really do.

We haven't seen the best of Pav by a long shot, I reckon. There are loads of top drawer players who have taken a season or two in a new country to find their best form. With the four we've got, we really don't need to be selling any of them, let's concentrate on positions that need sorting out!
