OMG here we go again, LOL. I read in the paper about a month ago that stuttgart was interested in pav but they said they had other targets first and we all know who that was. This could happen but im not sure about huntalaar now dont get me wrong i love the bloke his class but p unit has got a point 3 strikers would still do a job. I would love a great LW or CM player ie joe cole or young.

if crouch is used up top in a 4-5-1 and proves to be effective as a goalscorer, this would be less of an issue... but i don't think it's an ideal situation.

i had high hopes for pav when we got him in but wonder if he's well and truly up for it.

I just don't think there's enough time to just start those Harry and Levy negotiations again... plus, Real are desperate to sell Huntelaar, they're not gonna wait til the last day of the transfer window, they're not gonna wait for us to sell Pavlyuchenko first and then make the bid.

Good point but if you got players like joe cole and young they can play up top too. cole played there for the scum and he can do a great job in a 4-3-3

Levy wouldn't let Pavlyuchenko go for a penny less then the £13.5m he spend on him.
We all know what Levy's like, it was a struggle to get him to accept £15m for Bent!
No one will pay £13.5m for him, and Levy wouldnt sell for a loss after only a season.

Agree that levy wont let Pava go for less, he did well in the cups and scored a couple of important goals in the league (vs bin dippers and west ham i think) and after a very long season i dont see myself why we would look to sell him for a loss.
