Lescott was a disgrace he virtually refused to play against the arse and when forced look at the performance! That said you can understand that when a rival business offers you double the salary to do the same job you're going to want it .. wouldn't we all love that to happen?
The problem is the EU not allowing professional football exemption from some of the laws designed to protect exploited workers, hardly a term that applies to the 'filthy rich' players of today. If football contracts were enforceable all the 'tapping up' would stop, whilst they are not then if you have the money you will of course go for the best players, foolish not to. No blame on Chity for exploiting the system, Hughes' actions lack personal integrity but football is business so sadly that is the way of things.
