Sakho would be the signing of the year without a doubt, but it's unlikely he'd want to move to Spurs and it's unfortunately just as unlikely we'd be willing or able to pony up the cash needed to bring him in. Redknapp clearly believes Kyle Walker has great potential and I'm willing to let him develop. I think any CB that's brought in is going to be a relatively cheap, established guy who won't have a problem riding pine when Woodgate and Dawson are back at full strength. Better not to shake things up too much in the backfield.

Too bad about sakho as he is the best young center half in the world imo. Big strong athletic good in the air, great leader and he is left footed. Oh well we can dream anyway.
Back go reality i think we should just give dervite a run out. He is left footed as well. At 6'4 he is good in the air and is highly rated so give him a go. He onl needs to play a couple of games nyway until our others get back.
A back four of
BAE-Dervite-Ćorluka-Hutton/Naughton Is still prty good imo and can getthe job done.
On a side note, if Dervite proves his worth in real life then they might actually make him worth while having in FM (football manager) ......... I'm sorry but there really isn't much else to do in the off season .......
Harry said Daws is out for 4 weeks & the Prem starts in 4 weeks, so we're only talking about 1 or 2 games, & Woody might even be OK, we just don't know right now as the results of his surgery aren't back yet. Fingers crossed
Harry says that we weren't looking for a CB solution but the King/Woodgate situation is nothing new. Woody went for his Op as soon as the season finished. It wasn't succesful so he's had to go back but we must've known that for ages. King too we knew would have difficulties, so it is only Dawson's injury that is anything new, so I don't see how it can change things too much

I agree, if Dervite plays well tonight against Barcelona then he can cover while Dawson, Woody & King are out. If he doesn't then buy Distin or Bassong. As Spurs4life93 said we shouldn't waste money when the Huntelaar deal is still alive.
