hes a spurs talisman, cant see him going anywhere. and i agree with pitseleh about the "we love him and it would ruin him" bit.

moreover it would be a massive step back for us. and i think we would have to formally declare ourselves a feeder club if this went through.

No mate,i don't see 20m as being optimistic at all,not when you consider lennon's age and vast potential. But then again i wouldn't sell him in the first place.A modern day player with only one major fault[which can be corrected over time]is a real rarity. With patience from ourselves and the coaching staff, and hard graft, lennon's got all the ability to become the best winger in britain, and maybe even europe. His problem is he's sometimes just too quick for his own good,he just needs to slow things down a little and look up,when he gets to the byline.

I would say £20m, I just don't think Liverpool will. I don't think we'll accept it unless it is a big, big offer. Personally, if we were to get that sort of money, I wouldn't be that gutted as we could go out & get a LW AND a RW instead!

I love Lennon & would hate to see him leave, especially to Liverpool! If he absolutely HAD to go I would prefer he went abroad, to Real Madrid or Barcelona or somewhere.

I actually think Sessegnon is a better allround player & if we were to get him in place we would be laughing. It doesn't matter that he's not played in the Prem imo because he plays with guile. Its these 'technical' players that always have problems & they're the ones we always seem to go for. Sessegnon is a fighter, a player who plays with pace & aggression but also bags of skill AND a FINAL PRODUCT!

Tbh, I would have both Lennon & Sessegnon. I would like to try Sessegnon in a slightly more central role (instead of JJ) with Lennon outside of him, that would be deadly!

Unfortunately for me tho, I just don't think we'd have a hope of getting him off of PSG, especially now they look destined for the CL now & he is a big reason why.
      Jan Vertonghen!
      Vertonghen is his name!
      Spurs will never ever-ever,!

[quote=DanSpurs80;73970]Lennon wont go to a team with a complete disregard for playing wingers.

Liverpool never ever use wingers. They use Kuyt out wide (who is a striker) Gerrard on the RW (occasionally) Babel on the LW (another Striker). They dont actually have wingers in their squad.

yea thats actualy a realy good point, they never realy play with much width at all. they do however play with a lot of speed

riera is a winger and hes improved them alot this season... its plausible that they might be looking to strengthen their right side.

O.K. Bass,i'll bow to your knowledge re-Sessegnon,i don't get to see much european football i admit. And after all,the last winger we had,who had ties with PSG,didn't turn out too shabby did he?

      Is anyone in insurance???
If so, send Lennon an insurance quote for his home being burgled while playing for the bindippers! That should put him off!!!
