Really hope we can keep hold of him, he seems to be settling in now and we'll really see the best of him now!

Modric is leaving himself open for criticism because his game doesn't suit our game . Same as huddlestone . We are in a relegation battle now = not a look what i can do with the ball thing . We need a team , you dont have to have the best 11 players to win a game of football =you just need the best TEAM
comparing mod to hudd is a joke, right?

as a croatian i would love to see a croat at real but not modric or at least not for now.....he just started to adapt to tottenham and the epl and there is no reason for him to leave this summer and go through this whole adaption thing once again.... until he starts to perform great week and week out there is no reason to be scared of other big teams like real.....they might be looking at him as a potential buy in a 1 or 2 but not now....i can see him leaving in about 2 years if so anyways because the squad that we have right now is already better than arsenal.....and with arsenal selling their best players and us buying players we will for sure be a top four team wich might be tempting enough for modric to stay even longer

modric came to Spurs looking forward to playing under Juande but soon found it tough going. He did not like being constantly played out of position but he has been a different person under Harry & has said how much he likes playing for Redknapp & really appreciates getting played in his "favourite" position. He is also flattered that Harry wants to build the side around Luka & I can't see him trading that in fir a return to the dark days of Ramos

Having said all that, will Juande even still be at Madrid after the summer? I suppose he's done quite well so far but if the board get a whiff of Wenger (they'll probably throw up) or Rafa, what then?

Hello boys. New to the forum. Spurs fan for thirty years plus and thought it was time to air my views regarding the Spurs 08/09 3rd shirt. As a new member I can't yet raise a new thread. No doubt this subject has already been discussed but why is it that the 3rd shirt sold out so quickly? Why are there so many traders selling the shirt on ebay for an extortianate £70.00 and more? I have sent a complaint to the Spurs board. Dont think I'll get a reply but we'll see.

Ok looks like i upset a few people with my views , but at least i got a response . End product is what matters = not how fanciful you are on the ball , Tonight i watched Brazil beat Italy and the fact that they tried to man mark Ronaldinho spoke volumes . They see him as a danger but if you look at his statistics invariably he always loses the ball . They were trying to stop him showing off and they were soon to pay for it . I'm not having a go at modders = what i'm saying is that the opposition put a big fella agaianst him to make him look lightweight . Its paying off too because before the ball gets to him the wrestler has got armfulls of his shirt . He now has a roving role because of this , and against the scum it paid dividends . He needs this freedom to carry on and we will win on the strenght of it . You heard it here first .
