Liverpool are weighing up a move for Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone.
The 24-year-old has been out of action since August after an operation on his ankle but he is expected to be back playing at the end of the year.Anfield director of football Damien Comolli took Huddlestone to Spurs from Derby and, according to the Daily Mirror, is interested again.

Huddlestone came through the youth ranks with the Rams and made his debut as a 16-year-old in 2003.
He joined Spurs for around £2.5million in 2005 and spent a few months of his first season on loan at Wolves.
Huddlestone signed a contract extension in March this year and is tied to Tottenham until 2015.
Manager Harry Redknapp has handed Huddlestone the captain's armband, most notably against Inter Milan in the Champions League last season, but when fit he will be vying with Luka Modric, Scott Parker and Sandro for a place.
After making his England debut in the friendly defeat against Brazil in 2009, Huddlestone's most recent international outing was a World Cup warm-up against Japan.
He did not make Fabio Capello's squad for South Africa.
