It was a retort to your response to an earlier post about us having to have a new shiny stadium to secure CL footy.

I was using the Scum as a prime example of just how wrong you were. Stating that you don't need a big shiny new stadium if you scout fresh talent and turn them into world beaters and sell them at 200%+ profit.

I then gave you credit referring to the point you were trying to get at that money was the way to get in the CL.

Oh and if you look at the last 15 years mate (my time in football) they have been far more successful than us. Fact I am afraid.

Now on to your point of the scum disrespecting our league. At the time they did nothing but enrich our league with class players playing the type off football that Spurs became famous for. They were pioneers of the existing premier league weather you like it or not and in a way they did it with reasonable morals. The old fashion method of finding a player, training him up, and molding him into the superstar you know he can be.

Now at the time I too took umbrage with the fact that they fielded a team with no English players in it but if you look at any PL team sheet and most Chumpionsh1t team sheets you will find most have a 50-50 split. That is what makes our PL and Championship as good as it is.

That is what attracts the big sponsors and the big investors to keep it the best in the world by a long long way.

Now I dont like the scum, but you have to look at them as a neutral. and when you do that there are some positves to what they have achieved.
