It would be great to bring Keano back. But I see scousers have Torres and Kuyt only. If they sell Keane they have to buy a striker. I don't sure what we have to do if they offer to swap Keane for Pav or Bent

i think he is a brilliantly gifted footballer but i dont want him back after what happened, what we need is a striker with a big physical presence to compliment defoe ..but i reckon fred will end up here fairly soon .

too many problems with this deal - i would like to see robbie back but pav is no berbs - saying that there is a good chance they would gel together and make a great pairing but i have some questions

ARE THERE ONLY TWO FECKIN STRIKERS IN THE WORLD????
      WHERE ARE OUR SCOUTS????
      while i'm at it
DID SOMEONE GET ALL THE GOOD LM'S ON THE PLANET AND GIVE THEM A COUPLE OF MILL TO DISAPPEAR??

one thing though - you will get heart and soul from keano - every day every game......

There is no way you can be sure it will be like that now. He didn't give it all for liverpool and it will be different for him 2nd time around.

I think that could end up being a huge mistake if he did come back, he'll either end up partnering Defoe, which despite what was said last time we did see them play a few times together, this would leave Pav, who's been a saviour for us languishing on the bench. Alternatively Pav and Keane play, Defoe sidelined and repeat of what's already happened. Think Pav and Defoe will come great, neither of them will be happy not getting the games. Keane has had his time with us, not sure coming back would be great.

On top of that do we really think this will go through. Harrys mentioned alot of things about alot of players, too vague a comment for much to be concerned about methinks! Quite potentially just protecting himself but he did say "he belongs to Liverpool so it is not an option unfortunately" who knows with Harry, guess we have another 6days to wait and see what happens

Can`t we dig up some uncut diamonds that actually work ffs i want a left footed tall very skillful young striker whose not afraid to mix it with the big boys. Half the teams in the prem set their shop up to stop good football being played and that is the major problem we have in the league, we`ve got all these dainty skillful players which is great but when plan a doesnt work we are stuck with a draw at best.
I really rated keane and sung all i want is a team of robbie keanes for years, but we need to have a few more answers to the problems we face every other weak against the more physical sides.

Bring back Malbranque and Keane and play a 4-3-3 with Malbranque, Modric and Palacios in midfield and Defoe, Pava and Keane in attack. Sell all wingers and make a handsome profit to use on strengthening other areas.

Oh wait that's just me dreaming again

surely thats bollocks? how thick is mark hughes? they already have: bellamy, robinho, jo, elano, ireland, wright-phillips, petrov as attacking options, what the fook do they want with keane? i think i am right in saying they have scored more goals than everyone bar chelsea in the league, its their defence that's crap. whens he gonna sort that out?

This may be controversial but look at what we had before you shoot me down.

We had a 50+ goal a season partnership with Keano and Berbatov and are now suffering the consequences of that huge deficiency in our team.

If the Bin dippers do want to offload Keano as a kop failure why doesn't Bacon face put in a cheeky bid to re-unite that 50+ goal formula at Old Trafford.

It wouldn't cost them the 20 odd million that the pool played possibly 15-17 million for him and that would be around 50% of the fee he would have to pay for Teves to sign on a permanent basis.

I know this has no bearing on wether we will get him or not but surely SAF has at least thought about it.

      Your opinions??????????
