Good to see Him back! With Ekotto Improving and Corluka proving to be our best Summer Signing will make it Hard for him to get a starting place BUT he will be good for wen were loosin 1-0 or need a goal, because he has a really good attacking side to him as we saw last year

I thought Chimbonda was ok where he was here but this transfer is easily in the top 5 of the most bizare things that has happened in my time as a Spurs fan. I just don't get it.

We have Corluka at right back and a young Gunter who has done pretty well. Zokora did ok there too and Hutton can't be out injured all the time. I don't see Chimbonda as a reliable choice in the center and he did't impress me at left back when he played there before. I don't believe he will be better there than Ekotto is at the moment.

Sure we could use some strenghten in the defense but is this been-there-done-that all we can come up with???

I'm sorry, but this transfer makes absolutely no sense at all. Someone please pass me that stuff they are smoking

And yes, again, i'd love to see Steeeeed back, but window aint shut yet, could K-Jones be a bit of a smokescreen by Harry? dont forget he wheels and deals better than Arfur Daley and Del-Boy put together! Remember, theres over 4 weeks till the CC final, thats a long time in tottenhamtime.

Definitely agree. Some of us might trash Chim but his partnership with Lennon is great although I am not sure of his link up with Bentley. He is good in the air, not easily pushed off the ball. The fact that he took a pay cut doesn't show that he is any mercenary.

I hope he has Malbranque in his boot bag, did a good job for us in the troublesome left wing position. Chimbonda is great on his day, I'm sure Harry can keep him inline.

The only irritating thing is that everytime we are on the TV with David Pleat commentating we'll hear " Chimbonda, he's great in the air " 20 times a match!
