Davids is highly experienced and if we can use him on the field, just bring him in. As basskadet said the main point is changing our formation when needed. Neither our rivals know what Spurs now are nor we do, but when Modric, Pav and newly signed players (I hope) will finally settle, it would be necessary to change our formation from time to time.
BTW since Les Ferdinand (?) joined Spurs I can see some huge improvements of Pav that I never expected to see. May be having Davids in coaching staff is not a bad idea?

I don't think he'll be here purely on coaching terms, I think he still has something to offer playing-wise. I just think that he'll have plenty to pass on in the meantime.

      Vertonghen is his name!
      Spurs will never ever-ever,!

Lol thats so awesome! I'd love to have Edgar back on a pay as you play deal! Cant hurt in the slightest! Gives us an option with all the games were playing in and i think his experience alone will be invaluable with the younger players we have!

      GET IT DONE!!!

Always liked him. Pay per play sounds fair.

Obscene! JD of course. Quite frankly, what I have seen of Downing does't impress me. As for Davids, I don't think there is enough room on the stairs for a "Stannah stair lift"!!

I watched him play an exhibition match last month against the LA Galaxy and he worked his socks off for the full 90, earning himself man o the match.
He was in the Oceania Allstars (don't ask me how he qualifies for that!haha)
From what I saw he still lives up to his 'PitBull' name.

If he's the guy who played against us in the Eufa cup then no thanks.
He looked like a headless chicken.
