Its obvious he is rough Basskadet! He has basically been a sub boy, if he got time on the pitch I reckon he could be a big hit for us!

he was a first choice (along with Makaay) in his first season, but because he wasn't good enough, they bought Klose and Toni.

need another striker to play with defoe how great would it be to beat ar***** for arshavin it would be priceless to see wengers face

Now that we have bought Defoe. We really need another striker in because I think everyone knows Campbell will run home to bacon face. The question now is who will the other striker be?

Cavenaghi and Podolski look like the only prospects because simply Harry has no interest whatsoever in Arshavin which is good in some terms because apparently he doesn't get along with Pavlyuchenko.

I was thinking if we could sell Bent for at least £10 million, I reckon Man City or Aston Villa would be stupid enough to buy this "talent" and with that £10 or more if offered by whatever team we could buy Cavenaghi or Podolski... but we really do need two strikers if Bent goes out.

Currently we have... Pavlyuchenko, Defoe, Bent and Campbell.

As far as i can gather Podolski has played 89 times from a possible 116 in all competitions for Bayern in 2 1/2 seasons scoring 21 goals. I dont know how many were substitute appearances though, sorry.
Not a great return for a player of his quality.

Because he is unsettled in a squad, but if he was played first team football they probably would have gotten more goals out of him.
