Thread: in harry we trust.....

oh dear oh dear oh dear........a creaking ageing defence only made worse and slower by the introduction of nelson and a forward line that couldn't put the ball into the net if they had a formal invitation.....i hate to say i told you so but the next few weeks are going to be the longest and most painful of my long spurs supporting career as we slip out of CL qualification, fall behind our london rivals (arsenal and chelsea) to much gloating on their behalf, and probably lose to a nelson own goal in the fa cup!!!!! of course all this will mean that in the summer we lose the likes of modric and bale to 'bigger clubs with beeter opportunities of success' and doom us to a stuggle in next season. whats more i think this will give the fa the opportunity they have been looking for to avoid appointing harry to england ('he can't take the pressure') and we'll be stuck with him again next season - in my opinion he has taken us as far as we can go and does not have the ability to find the players or the consistency that is required for regular top 4 finishes and beyond.
