i think ones gotta be carefull here; a lot of stories are being rehashed to make it look like something it isn't, some parts of the media are more favourable to the scum so there going to rehash it to make it look like above, it'll happen again again until it's finally a done deal

Look below that post, I don't think Arsenal are the threat. Also even though I posted the Goal.com story I don't necessarily believe it, the author is a Spurs fan. After the Diarra fiasco I don't really value his opinion but I just thought I would share with the board. I still think Chelsea would be the biggest threats to signing him, unless United or Citeh get involved.

I'm now so fed up with transfer talk in the media that I don't believe any of it until the deal is done and there's a picture of the palyer holding his new club shirt. Witness Modric this summer and more recently no-one had any idea we were going to get Saha and Nelsen, all the talk was Samba and Hoillet. It's now a waste of time and energy speculating in my view and only done to get us to read websites, debate on forums and buy papers?

The reason is my first patient this morning was of the surname hazard, just after I was reading this thread..lol

If Chelsea or Arsenal finish fourth, he might prefer them imo.

Then again, the situation at Arsenal and Chelsea could be unattractive to him.

that's redknapp for you : ) off the top of my head, kaboul, gudjohnsen, kranjcar, walker, sandro, van der vaart, saha, nelsen. not one of them linked before made public

tottenham are an ITK's nightmare heh : )

Eden & his father have probably been told by SPURS (in a nice way of course) KEEP YOU FOOKING MOUTH SHUT!!!

If we're trying to signing him the last thing we would want is to tell everyone, so imo I think there is a lot in this story.

I wouldn't be surprised if a deals been agreed as long as we get CL football.

Man Utd have strength in the positions Hazard plays just like we do...Nani, Rooney,Valencia,Young (plus Park and Giggs as backup). I can't see Utd going for him as they aren't going to spend £30m+ on yet another winger surely their big puchase is going to be a central midfielder?

Just saw an interview on the Belgian tv with him and he didnt deny or confirm it.

The interviewer also said that he might play against his future team mates like Bale and Modric to qualify for the World Cup. Then Hazard himself also added Kranjcar... This proves he knows or team very well and gives me a lot of hope.

I would wet my pants if he would sign for us!

My thoughts exactly, United have plenty of need of other players, and not wingers as much. I think they have bigger holes to fill than wingers.

Oh there is plenty of room. They have been bad this season. He would take the left wing or and attacking mid spot in a 4 3 3 but and in other formations there are even more options. We could see:

Striker
Hazard Mata Sturridge

I can see a bigger need for him at Chelsea than Utd, Chelsea will probably get rid of Kalou/Malouda this summer so they're going to be pretty short of wide attacking options and Lampard isn't getting any younger in the middle.

This will determine what happens with this kid. I think the only way we might go all out for him is if Bale or VDV jumps ship.

Personally I don't think we will need to sell a key player in order to sign Hazard.

Firstly, in terms of finance, there is no issue. In the summer we expect various 'fringe' players to leave, which will raise funds in itself, possibly reaching 20-30mil. We then have to conisder that over the last two windows we have made a profit of approx 25mil, which may be partly spent on transfers. In fact I think we may be holding this money back tuntil we achieve champions league qualification, which this squad can do. Redknapp has mentioned a 'marquee' signing in the past, therefore this may be the one.

Position wise, he could take Lennons place, although rotation is neccessary with all competition. Whatever happens the future is bright.
