Where would Dos Santo's place have come in? We put Niko as our 4th choice winger, Gio had no chance. Especially since Steven ****ing Pienaar was bought and given so much time around the middle of the season....

Let's leave Pienaar out of this one. GDS was already in Santander by the time we bought him. Steven didn't affect anything about Dos Santos' loan.. It would have happened either way.

Meanwhile, del Nido claims the club have held negotiations with Tottenham forward Giovani dos Santos, who enjoyed a successful loan spell at Racing Santander last season.
New Sevilla boss and former Santander manager Marcelino Garcia Toral managed the Mexican for the six-month loan, but del Nido admits the transfer is not a formality.
"It is certain that we have spoken with the player (dos Santos) and we interest him, but he is not a unique target for the squad.

They had the option to buy him but it looks like they either didnt want to or we wanted too much for him. Looks like the Santader coach who is now at Sevilla wants him but it'll depend on how much we want for him. The Sevilla chairman is just as shrewd as Levy in a business sense.

Keep GIO! He is so young damn it! Anyone of you didn´t do stupid things with 18,19? People forget how young he is, we have nothing to loose if we keep him, we can always sell him, he´s not 33 years old. He will be worth 7,8M next year also, doesn´t even matter how he plays.
