The TW closed at 6pm today for Italian clubs, I'm 100% positive about that. I think even Spanish clubs had their deadline today, but not 100% sure about that.

Again, he didn't disgrace himself. Looked pretty useful when he came on. I don't think his lifestyle is half as bad as is made out. He seems to ne a well liked lad within the squad from what I saw at the pre-match warm up last September against Liverpool, except pav who he hit with a ball but **** pav. Vdv seemed to be taking him under his wing a bit. They seemed like good friends. Anyway, I have always liked Gio since his debut at Barca, he has bags of ability he just isn't given a chance to show it with us.

I think as an SS or even a winger (he's actually got some experience playing there, and more importantly PACE) he could actually help us this year.

Now don't expect him to start vs. Chelsea but I think we may see a few more appearances.
