I'm a Roma fan so Juve are kind of pantomime villains for me, I watch them a lot. He never really shown anything that would warrant the interest he gets. I'm not buying he's just at the wrong club. People are using dated Juventus stereotypes they actually switch the player rather quickly and aren't really the defensive. With Vucinic, Pepe, Elia and Giacherrini they play pretty well down the wings, think is those are all technical players. Krasic's problem is like I said before, he's got one move, like a rockem sockem robot. I actually think he'd be worse in England, he gets by in Italy by just attacking defenders with his pace. With some of the quick fullbacks in England they'll put him to bed all day long. Vucinic when on the wings doens't put up big numbers but he offers a lot more in linking up play then Krasic.

Not just that but he's terrible defensively. One of the best examples of why Mazzarri is a brilliant manager was a match against Napoli last season. Mazzarri played an imbalanced backline of sorts, with Dossena at LB and Campagnaro tight on him giving Maggio plenty of space on the RB (which he does well with because he works hard offensively and defensively). Further up the field he played Lavezzi on the LW and Cavani and Lavezzi would switch. So basically very heavily weighted to the left. Now Krasic playing RM does his normal thing attack down that wing, no final product, not link up play, poor passing, lackadaisical tracking back etc. Because the formation was weighted to the left Campagnaro could help cover for Krasic, or he could just handle him, it wasn't too difficult. Due to this and the predictability of Krasic Napoli always had acres of space opened up down that LW, which was the plan and Dossena, Hamsik, Lavezzi, Maggio and Cavani had good games, Cavani hattrick. The scored goals from both sides of the pitch but the damage was done on the left throughout the course of the match. That's just one example that's not even taking into account his poor passing or crosses even in that match. I think he's limited as a player and smart managers teams have proven to be able to exploit that. That's why he's riding the bench.

Maybe we are interested in him but most of these rumors have come from press releases from his agent. He's been claiming that Chelsea want him for awhile now. He wouldn't cost much, so why haven't they pulled the trigger.

He makes a decent youtube clip and he looks sort of like Nedved, but he's not that good IMO.

There's a reason he doesn't play for Juve and it's not just tactical. Juve play a few players with similar attributes to Krasic but they offer much more then willingness to run at players. Conte rightly players like Chelo, Giaccherini, Pepe, even Lichsteiner (further up the pitch). Nobody can look at Chelo or Giaccherini play and tell me they don't value pace on the wings, those two bastards destroyed Roma. Conte has been praised in Italy for his ability to rotate players and not have a massive drop in quality, the fact that Krasic barely plays is pretty telling.

I've seen about every match he's played for Juve, he wasn't even too impressive against Club America in the friendly, lol.

Whatever I'm done with the topic, if we sign him we sign him. But I think if we do he'll end up being our version of Arshavin, at least he can finish.
