Sorry Thug but i have to agree with steven on this 1. Would be a great signing for us, no risk of bringing in foreign talent and failing to perform and adjust. hes a proven goalscorer in the EPL and experienced to boot. I'd even be happy seeing us pay 20mil or so for him.

I didnt say he would be a bad signing but I am saying that there are much much better ones out there , which we also could get realisticly with spending more money.

If we want to be up at the top then we need top top players and adebayor is a decent player yet I think hes not the one we lack.

There is a reason why he went to man city.

Because he was not a regular starter and he was a money grabbing coont.

Then once more he was not a regular at man city... then went to real madrid on loan and there he played some part because higuain was injured but he has totally no chance now there.

Do we need need someone who is rejected by every club he has been in and not managed to be a regular starter for his team because there were better strikers than him at the club?

Van persie, Tevez , Higuain , Benzema...

I would love us to get someone who is hungry for success . Someone like falcao or hulk. Surely it will be more expensive than an adebayor transfer but that will send out signs to other clubs that we actually want to challenge for something.

Whlie buying adebayor it will be like buying a reject.

Gallas was different tho he was a leader for arsenal and always showed good performances for them but they didnt give him a longer term contract so he decided to come to us.

However if we can get him on cheap + a world class striker then I would of course not say no.

When he played for arsenal and man city against us or others I never thought he is near the class of defoe.

In fact I thought hes a joke. He scores now and then but doesnt work hard enough.

I would prefer new blood. A real world class striker. Adebayor is not a world class striker that we need and if we get him it will prove.

BUT if we buy a world class striker and buy adebayor as well on cheap I wouldnt say no.

I think he could do a job, has had a lot of experience playing for quality sides, still at an age where he could put in a shift up front and thinking about who he have you would definitely have him on the pitch instead of Pav and Defoe.

For example suarez was at ajax he will be even better than tevez if he isnt already.

There are always good strikers out there . Right now its Hulk and falcao who will be world class strikers for a top top club but if you want them you have to jump on the wagon and not let it go like with suarez and then say at the end " we were not after him anyhow and he wouldnt suit us"

I've not watched the interview but no thank you. He's not the most consistent around. If we want a striker that can score in every game then dry up completely after then we already have that in Defoe.

Like with every player I'll reserve full judgement until he's playing for us but he wouldn't be at the top of my list.

Exactly what I think mate.

I would not say no but he is no where near my my top wish list.

However If we sell Pav and keane and then buy a world class striker which we were always after for lets say 25-30 million € and then buy adebayor for 12 million that would be a great deal.

Then our Strike force could be for example

Falcao, Adebayor,Defoe,Crouch

Its not like adebayor was shining.

Klose was warming the bench the WHOLE TIME for bayern.

You can compare him to adebayor with warming the bench just far worse.

Adebayor 35 games this season and 10 goals yup.

Klose 33 Games and 15 goals yup.

25 games and scored 3 times yes last season YES BUT!!!!!!

you actually know that from this 25 games he hasnt started 14?

and out of 25 he was taken out of the game 7 times.

So basically he played only 4 times 90 minutes and scored 3 goals.

Read what I said .... Klose only played 4 times over 90 minutes for bayern and scored 3 goals in this 25 games you said he was taken out of the game 7 times and 14 times he didnt start it but came in later at like 60 minutes or even later.
