I didn't mind him in the MLS, but come on that's the MLS! He would probably still be there if he wasn't lazy.
Depends. . . .
. . . is he cup tied?![]()
Well played Contrast, well played![]()
I don't like the idea of Rossi, although this is the only place that I've heard of a link.
Rossi plays mostly as a supporting striker, and that's not at all what we need. If we're going to get a striker, only someone who can lead the line alone would do it for me.

personally i think rossi would be a great signing.
he is much younger than fabiano
scores brilliant goals.
has got a lethal left boot
and scored a hatrick against us pre season
and before we were linked with him i thought he was the type of player we would never sign because he is world class, but now we have a chance signing of him

ROSSI: Villarreal and Italy sharpshooter

HARRY REDKNAPP will turn to Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi if his loan move for Klaas-Jan Huntelaar falls through.
Rossi, who is valued at around £8m, is on Tottenham's radar as the final hours of the transfer window approach.
The former Manchester United forward scored a hat-trick against Spurs during their congested pre-season programme.
Tottenham's move for the striker is being driven by chairman Daniel Levy, but Redknapp is also a big admirer.
They have the option of signing Huntelaar from Milan before Tuesday's transfer deadline, but Spurs are still not certain of his ability.
Huntelaar excelled during a four year spell at Dutch giants Ajax, but his career slowed at Real Madrid and Milan.
He has become available on a season-long loan, but the availability of Rossi is interesting Spurs.
Rossi was never given a chance to fulfil his potential at Old Trafford, but he has an impressive strike-rate at Villarreal.
Spurs have left it late to make their move, but they traditionally make a clutch of last-minute signings before the window shuts.
That will be no different this time around and Levy will back his manager with funding after they qualified for the Champions League group stages.
Stick with us on Tuesday for our live deadline day special.

I haven't made enough posts yet so I cant post the link, but there is another article suggesting we are pursuing Rossi and Oscar Cardozo from Benfica on metro.co.uk

Rossi at The Lane
TV images have shown Harry Redknapp sat in the El Madrigal, watching Villarreal currently outplay Almeria. Now, I'm no ITK, but why else would Harry be watching this game, unless he was seriously interested in a player on display?
Prior to our pre-season friendly with Villarreal in July 2010, a few media sources ran with the story that Spurs were interested in signing the former Manchester United and Italian International striker, Giuseppe Rossi. He scored a couple in that game and showed us that he is class.
With Villarreal in serious debt, who knows, maybe a £12 million bid could tempt them to part with their star man? I could see him being an ideal signing for us, even replicating the euphoria that has surrounded Rafa's lilywhite entrance.
If this is true id be well happy with this signing......He scores goals and knows the EPL already. He's obviously wouldnt cost as much as others and would give us that bit of quality need up front.
My favourite spurs player!
Yeah I was just about to post that Ros!
Good goal scorer for sure
he was at Loftus Road today....so maybe he caught a quick flight down to Spain?
Steven Caulker is the messiah!
Apparantly Redknapp was at the QPR game so it must ave been some jet he got from London to Villareal!!!!!!!!
"Modric could play in any team in the world in my opinion, he's a fantastic footballer, top, top class."
