Nothing is going on, it's a bit boring.
maybe someone can set up a thread on the subject of international rules,i think it would be a great topic and there would be some interesting views expressed in it,its something being irish effects me.lets keep this to rossi although as bluecrew says there doesnt seem to be fook all happening today,very quite for itk and rumours isnt it????
Nothing is happening but OT discussion and people complaining about OT discussion.![]()
Tottenham Hotspur coach Harry Redknapp told reporters in London : "I heard the rumours linking Villarreal forward Giuseppe Rossi with the Spurs, but that is inaccurate. Even though he is a very good player, I am not tracking him because he is quite expensive.
We've heard Redknapp say this so many times before
Wouldnt be surprised if he's over in Spain again watching him play today.
and the fact he's talking about how expensive he'll be is a clear indication to me that we have enquired about him.

@BlueCrew
OK, so I assume we're signing him before the deadline.
Everyones expensive, dip into your fcking pocket.
I'm not so sure about that now. Typically that would be 'Arry's mo but with the whole stadium madness who knows what restrictions he's working under. In one day available funds for transfers could jump from 20m to 50m or 60m. I would imagine that untill we know anything for sure we'll be cautious and if we don't get OS we could be more frugal.
Man, I really hope Harry took another trip to Spain this weekend. To Villarreal tonight though, Rossi has scored to great strikers goals and only 47 mins gone. 19 goals so far this season for him. 11 in the league. I reall y hope we make a move for this lad, he is top class from what I've seen tonight. He takes all their set pieces as well.
rossi looks brilliant
Rossi signed a new contract with Villareal until 2016 according to Graham Hunter on twitter
Hunter is a spanish agent.........his twitter- https://twitter.com/BumperGraham#
"I did warn Spurs fans who were lusting after Beppe Rossi that there was no chance, especially now. He just renewed until 2016. @Eccellente"
Striker Giuseppe Rossi and Villarreal CF have reached an agreement to extend the contract of Italian-American player, which extends its commitment to the institution until next June 30, 2016. So, after having repeatedly expressed his desire to continue in the Villarreal striker born in Teaneck (New Jersey, USA) will play in the ranks of the submarine during the next five years. Reached in the 2007-2008 season from Manchester United (although he played on loan at Parma during part of the season 2006-2007), the striker has given an impressive leap in quality to become one of the cornerstones of Villarreal CF and the leading scorer in his twelve seasons in the First Division. Also, Rossi, who has dual nationality, is also a fixture in the Italian who now heads Cesare Prandelli. So far, Rossi has accumulated a total of 66 goals in the colors of the submarine through its 44 goals in La Liga, 13 in Europe and 9 in the Copa del Rey. This season, the striker has proved to be a spectacular fitness and now has 19 goals in the different competitions (11 in the league, 3 in Europe and 5 in the League Cup). Morning after morning training (starting from 10.30 am), the attacker will appear, accompanied by the directors of Villarreal CF, in the press room of the Sports City to discuss the agreement it has reached the submarine.
