I know I'm repeating myself, but when he played over here I regarded him as the best midfielder in the league.

Same mate. I believe Diarra, Huddlestone and Modric with Van der Vaart playing off Defoe and Lennon and Bale on form on the wings would be capable of winning the League,

That is our biggest problem.

Have to say that an in form willy would be better for me personally as I love his tenacious style but Diara is without doubt World class at that DM role. Definite improvement on our current options.

Who would get dropped out of them? I know who I would drop on current form but will not risk the wrath of you lot by saying it. lol! Or would you play 3 at the back?

Diarra, and Dzeko. With both them in then yes i think we could win title.

We may not score many goals, but with a fit Dawson in the back 4 and Diarra ahead of him we wouldn't concede any either. I'd settle for Diarra in January and then a ST in the summer.

We need a striker above all else. Diarra is quite the player but we already have a crowded mid-field. Diarra would be a small improvement over what we have while a quality striker has the potential of being much better than what we have.

US is right.

We dont have a good enough striker in the side IMO to propel us to the next level.

We do have good enough midfield options to make the chances to be able to propel us to the next level.

Striker in Jan 1 zilion percent for me and Diara as well if they dont want to fook about and make this season a successful one.

I dont think we need him but if it was for a good price like, maybe 8 mil then yes. I like the way Hudd and MOdric play the centre of the park together. With them two in the middle we beat Arsenal, and Chelsea in a week then beat city at their home.
