I've just started to come around on Gio and I would be sad to see him go. One strength of our team is our speed on the wings and only Gio can really step into that role if Lennon or Bale need a rest.

i hear what you saying but the other night vs young boys, gio didnt seem to want to run the right wing, maybe he didnt want the ball on hs weaker foot ? although ashley young has managed fro villa, surely it would be worth giving him a run on the left ?

would prefer him tucked in behind the lone striker.

I think the World Cup showed that this is prob his better position at the moment. He does not, in my opinion anyway, look like the type of player to cause havoc down the wings in the premier league.

I thought that was a little weird too especially since he has been saying he liked playing on the right. I would like to see him on the left some but it looks like Bale is the fittest player in the league and will just play every game.

Need to convince 'Arry to try some new formations. I liked how we looked against Stoke and imagine we would be even better with a better striker, don't know if 'arry liked it though.

Well on top of everything can we really rate him on the performance in that match? I mean everyone else was pretty shite to.
