An interesting line from QPR boss Neil Warnock in his post-match reaction to the 4-0 victory over Barnsley. He says new signing Adel Taarabt could go on to play for Barcelona one day.

buuuuut, if he was to get sold to them or any other club for a massive fee we'd get a nice percentage of that according to the details of his deal to them.

U don't know much about football. These types are not acadamy robots . Their greedy want the ball and have the confidence to dribble. U can't teach stuff like that. It's natural. Rooney is the same. Messi is a 'little show pony' too i suppose.
Really going to compare Rooney and Messi to Taarabt? Rooney/Messi would have destroyed the leagues Adel has played in, the kid has some talent but he is far from a huge loss for the squad. He is simply a highlight reel that lacks goals or an ability to set up others, aka, a championship player.
gio stood out more in the chumpionship when he was with ipswich. we have kept the better of the two imo
I would hate if were purely a functional team team without flair. In time he would have matured into a Berbatov without the attide.

I had hoped this loan spell - which Neil Warnock clearly thinks was a huge success - would have resulted in AT becoming a regular member of our squad.
Can't help feeling this is a bad decision which might come back to haunt us!
