While it may seem savvy to Levy n co., to wait for Citteh to shed the excess so we can get some bargains, what if they are aware of this?
What if they decide to keep us hanging on then.... sell them to someone else leaving us up a well known creek without a certain implement.

We have proved we can mix it with the big boys - over here. Now we have to prove it wasn't a one off.

I think if nothing is happening there damn well better be something going on behind the scenes. If not then 'Arry "title contender" Redknapp is going to look a bit silly...

Isnt it refreshing not to be spunking money on all sorts of foreign shite for a change?

I agree with what Shady says about Ireland, Bellers and Richards. They would be 3 very very decent signings and bolster our squad in all the key areas we are lacking.

However we are in a position we have never been in before and we have the opportunity to grow bigger than we have ever been in our clubs history.

I just know if it was me and probably you lot you would have taken a bit of the Manc Citeh approach and jumped into the market with a 100 million of borrowed money and an increased wage structure to cement our place in the league and our seat at the top table.

I and you will know nothing of what happens or the motives behind it happening or not.

yeah for sure, usually we have had to sell arguably our best players, now we have a good squad and a talented crop of youngsters to be added and still fans want dollars spunked on the latest footballing celebrities. I for one respect the fact we have a wage cap and think we should damn well stick to it and give a firm fingers up to the citeh and chelski approaches of buying up all the expensive worldwide talent and inflating mediochre footabllers egos and pockets. I woul love for our club to grow organically within our means and hopefully show the footballing world and the knob jockeys at the fa that not everything in life is about money. Its time for a wage cap in not just football but capitalist life as we know it.

      oh yeah imo

It is a good thing that Arry and Levy are not buying withouth careful consideration. It is better to get 1-3 players that will fit in team than to buy 50 of them that will just suck money from Spurs accounts (also just suck).
I know that this "waiting game" is annoying to us fans because WE DONT KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING behinde closed doors. There are many cases where transfers were ruined because information leaked out.

Harry got my trust....and he didnt failed me so far
I ran out of gas! I got a flat tire! I didn't have change for cab fare! I lost my tux at the cleaners! I locked my keys in the car! An old friend came in from out of town! Someone stole my car! There was an earthquake! A terrible flood! Locusts! IT WASN'T MY FAULT, I SWEAR TO GOD!

What are the odds on....signing Ivan Klasnic since he is a free agent now.. i would like to know what you all think about that option..

or is he too old/risky (health wise) or expensive or even both and do you think he would be an improvement in some way cause of his "killer instinct" infront of goal.. thanks

edit.. well nevermind.. he signed with Bolton today a 2 year contract..
