He bloody said that one of the guys he is looking at is currently on a free transfer. He said that he has 3 targets that he wants to bring to to club. How can anyone NOT get that we are looking to bring in a free transfer?!?!?!
Tranquillo Barnetta supposedly is on a free transfer, played well for laverkusen last year. Had a decent world cup with the swiss team. Plays on the left but sadly no champions league experience. I'd take him.

To be honest, I don't think Barnetta is a free transfer, but being Swiss I can tell you he really is a top player, got a good deal of pace and can dribble and cross very well. Even better is he can play on both flanks and is very adept with both feet. He would do well in the Premier League would walk into a lot of teams in the PL. He's a top player. Would absolutely love to see a Swiss player at Spurs, especially such a good one.
Somebody mentioned him on this thread as being on a free. I asked my friend who watches leverkusen alot and he said he was a top player and rated him highly. He had alot of good things to say about him. So i figured i'd throw his name out again.
But he said he is only looking at three players . . . .
I'm not reading between the lines, just what he said.
