It's been really inconsistent here in vermont, but a warm day is still below freezing. Couple weeks ago it was -10F (-20C) plus wind on top of that. This winter hasn't even been that bad, not much snow, sadly. I miss my mild southern winters though.
I love certain things that come from argentina, one in particular.
We skied from France to Italy oncetime for a Pizza , we were on snow and snow lifts the whole way .Footy matches being called off in Italy due to snow.
I just assumed Italy was, well, warm all year.

Weird though how bad the weather is in Rome. It gets cold and snows from time to time but it's pretty bad right now. Roma v Inter was called off, and rightly so. The Stadio Olimpico is hard enough to get to in the best conditions.

Actually at the moment we have 35knot southerly winds, the accomodation vessel might have to pull off due to the sea swell.
I have had to cross the bridge onto the drilling rig whilst everyone else is tucked up in bed to oversee the rig if they pull off.
Oh well OVERTIME BABY

I have no idea what trying to live in this climate is like - I have only seen snow about 5 times and never enough to make even snowballs! It has been 30°C here today of course, but winter is normally 10 to 18°.
It is sad to hear of these deaths of course. I hope for you all across Europe that the weather improves soon.

Dont know what all the complaining is about. It was 33 C today and is going to be 31 tomorrow, off to the beach now at 6:15pm. I guess this makes up for us having to watch Spurs play in the middle of the night.
