Thread: JENAS - as 2nd striker ??

I've got the Sunderland game recorded.

theres a moment where bentley passes to BAE and then shows for the ball 2 secs later.... BAE passes to him accurately but Bentley miscontrolls the ball loses it.... then he does a Berbatov-like moan and starts gesturing to BAE as if its his fault...

other moments incl. at least 2 occasions when |Bent was in in plum position to get a strike at goal, and Bentley goes for the 25-30yd shot instead of putting it on a plate... and then its the dismissive body-language to Bent that follows.... like: who the hell are you, I'm David Bentley and I can shoot when I want, so shut it...

I think Bentley will be played on the right more.... that way he will find it harder to just try for goal himself all the time..

the way that modric should play is to tell him to go out there and enjoy his football
then see the little meastro go
and how can you want to leave bentley out
as i said before we need a defensive midfielder badly to let modric be creative

Bentley will be good if/when we play 2 upfront, as his forte is his crossing.... pointless just aiming acrosses at a lone-striker marked by 2 defenders... unless youre Cisse in the middle of course..

if we play just 1 striker vs. Chavski, then I want Lennon there instead as he has good form against them.... but mainly... we will be playing on the counter, and for that reason Lennon is far better..

Keep him in midfield IMO
