i think there will be a greater demand for modric but levy will not sell him. that is certain. he has received so much credit for keeping him that he wont let him go half way through the season.

Given the form of both sides, and particularly with United's exit from Europe, (as in Modric being cup-tied is irrelevant to them AND the glaring need they have to rebuild starting with a creative midfielder), i think the likelihood of a move for Modric is massively increased. I hope you are right and that I am wrong!!!!![]()

I don't think chav' or united will waste there time in Jan trying to get modric. Summer is more likely to try
No January sales at Tottenham - Redknapp - ESPN Soccernet
Not sure if ESPN have interpreted Harry's comments correctly here. The way the article words it, they seem to think he says that we're selling no-one, including the likes of Pav and Bassbong. I interpret what he says as "Modric isn't leaving, but here, have Bassong instead...""
If its not broken don't try and fix it......
We've been flying, so unless its essential then i'd rather wait until the summer to do business!
My favourite spurs player!
Getting Pav and Bassong out in January won't really disrupt the team, they rarely play and if they do it never seems to be on a big stage. If we bring in a few players too, assuming they don't immediately slot into the starting 11, the chemistry damage should be minimal. Another CB and a No. 9 striker need to be the focus. Samba and Doumbia would suit me just fine......

Expiring contracts this summer
Pav, Gomes, and 1 other player cant remember who it is......all need to be sold.
