It is very possible that the FA will respond today one way or another .
Bellendelli in Court - live feed post 14...
[judge] order... order...
the court is now in session...
the court calls mister bellendelli to the witness box
[prosecution] can you state you name for the purposes of the court please.
[bellendelli] my name is bellen...
[judge] don't witter like a child, speak up please!
[bellendelli] sorry your honour, my name is bellendelli
[prosecution] we the prosecution saw the tottenham player scott parker lying still on the floor. the opponent player collided with him with his lower body. suddenly changing his direction, his foot then reached the floor to reattain some form of balance, before spring-boarding to safety.
whether this action was intentional or not is obvious, as you so lead us to believe.
he was pushed by luka modric and had no other choice but to find the floor as fast as he could, to regain his balance.
this is your recollection of the events mister bellendelli?
[bellendelli] yes s...
[prosecution] i beg your pardon, could you repeat that please?
[bellendelli] yes sir, this is my recollection of the events. i was off balance due to scott parker's face colliding with the boot of my standing leg. luka modric's subsequent hard push in my left shoulder is the critical piece of the action at this moment.
it spins me round and pushes me forward. due to the push, i brought my foot down further back than i originally intended too as i tried to stop falling forward.
[prosecution] then we the prosecution put it to you that this resultant contact quite clearly shows that parker's original state of lying still, changes into him half spinning over, clutching the side of his face. the side that received said contact.
to what degree was this contact? again, you say very little? is that correct?
[bellendelli] yes sir.
[prosecution] your honour, i apologise but am unable to understand the defendants voice. they are speaking like a mouse.
[judge] yes, yes i concur! speak up mister bellendelli or you'll be found in contempt of court.
[bellendelli] yes your honour, sorry.
[prosecution] i put the question to you again mister bellendelli. you say this contact was, quote; "possibly just clipped the top of parker's head", unquote; in essence, very little, if any? is that correct?
[bellendelli] yes sir, that is correct.
[prosecution] so if said contact was as unintentional as you make it seem, parker's reaction was actually not one of being in pain, but in effect, acting. or more correctly interpreted as trying to get the opponent player booked.
so if he was intentionally cheating the ref, then maybe mister bellendelli is right, and parker should have actually been sent off...
pause...
[prosecution] in light of these new findings your honour, we the prosecutors here by decree from our original adaptation, and concur with the right honourable gentleman bellendelli.
we hereby feel that scott parker did commit an act of dishonesty before the eyes of the official.
the prosecution recommends that scott parker should receive the mandatory 4 match ban for has ungentlemanly conduct.
let it be known that the prosecution feels said official should be rewarded for his generosity shown towards the tottenham player, in allowing him to continue during the match and not showing him a red card for decent.
[judge] i call this case a miss-trail.
case dismissed.
mister bellendelli, you are of no wrong doing and are free to leave the court.
[bellendelli] thank you your honour. it was my pleasure to be of service.
[judge] case against defendant scott parker will resume monday morning, of the coming week.
defendant is hereby sentenced to a 4 match suspension, pending further inquiry.
all rise...
