Thread: El Clasico: It's that time of the year again

That was a good game yesterday. Shame that once again there had to be a sending off, not even Chris Foy would have made such a bad decision.

Playing for Real Madrid must be so frustrating, you beat everyone by 4 or 5 and then you come up against Barca.

There were terrible decisions by the ref for both sides tbh. Not sure why RM had a goal disallowed but Barca had two 1 on 1 opportunities given offside when they clearly weren't. Also Alexis had 2 clear penalties, one time where Pepe just swiped him down and another time where he just barged him to the ground, which resulted in him getting subbed for a shoulder injury.

Shocking defending. 2 awesome goals by Barca. Sloppy play to let Madrid back into the game but Higuain missed about 3-4 sitters and Madrid can't complain, shit finishing. I love Ozil, as a player, and i wish that strike of his went in the top corner. OHHHH, would've been goal of the season easily. Wow...

It was so depressing watching the El Clasico after that sh-t show in West London.

Amazing football to be quite frank the Madrid move for their second goal was delicious.



To me they're deserving champions.

Wasn't the best Clasico i've seen but it was a lot cleaner than previous seasons, so i'm thankful for that at least!

Valdes kinda f*cked up for the goal. If he stayed on his line it might have been different.

Also the Barca goal was scrappy but the build up play leading to that goal was excellent.

Yeah probably but still from that angle that's a difficult finish, CR7 did very well there. Most players would have put that into the side netting moving at that speed away from the goal.

Barca will win the Champions League and Copa del Rey and end up pissing on Madrid's parade. Again.

If Newcastle beat Arsenal to 3rd, would you rather see Chelsea win the cup and take Arsenals place, or they lost and Arsenal qualified? If Arsenal missed out I'd piss myself. If it's because Chelsea won the CL I'd still piss myself. I hate Chelsea too, but for all the jip I've taken from Arsenal fans in recent months if they missed out on the CL in somewhat harsh circumstances I'd lol to the moon. That being said, Stoke beat Arsenal, we'd go infront of them if we won all our games iirc. Don't think they'd get all 3 points at WBA away either.

i am delighted to see barca knocked down a peg, i do not enjoy watching this incarnation of their club. honestly they should just return ronaldinho and rivaldo, such fun players, great flair. messi is prolific and efficient but i can not say i have ever partaken joy from his football. overall a fun result, even if athletic club is preferable
