how do u feel about the loss of ronaldo? would u have sold him given the choice and can u replace him?
I'm ok with it, he is the best player in the world, I have a hunch the deal was agreed last year, though he's a big loss as he covered up some of our midfield flaws, we at least won't be so reliant, and it's 1 less potential hate figure associated with us (though I could never hate him!)
what are ur opinions on the signing of michael owen?
Pleased, fox in the box used sparingly as a sub, that's all, I don't want him to start many games though, starting him v Burnley exposed that we're far better with Berbatov starting
have u been impressed by berbatov since his big money signing?
Delighted, I'm a Berba-fan (not sure how you'll take to that) he gets a lot of criticism, but I love him, I admire that kind of player, I love his awesome first touch, his vision, his passing, his hair and his all round play, I admire him so much, he's probably my favourite player at United, and although £30 million was too much, you held us to ransom, that's not his fault.
do u think man city will become a major force and eventually overtake u as manchester's top club and maybe even win major honours?
Man City will never overtake us as Manchester's top club, eventually they will win something who knows how far they will go, but they can't beat the club's history.
what are ur opinions on harry redknapp and his management style?
I like 'Arry Redknapp, he's a top manager, you're lucky to have him, he's very shrewd, experienced and pretty good tactically.
who do u see as the dangermen for both teams this weekend?
Defoe is on fire, so he's a threat, I would have said Modric (a player I admire very much) but obviously, Bowyer nobbled him, Palacios is a beast in midfield, and if Crouch plays, he may threaten from set pieces. From our point of view, Berbatov can create something from nothing, Rooney is a gamewinner, and Nani is like that too, Fletcher is in great form too.
how do u percieve our club after the berbatov saga in terms of our tranfser dealings?
Well I said you were Shrewd, especially now you have mr.Redknapp, I wasn't too pleased about the Berba-saga, you held us over a barrel, though you can't be blamed, you're not the first and won't be the last to do it.
where do u predict spurs and man utd will end up in the league table this season?
I can see us being first or second, I think it's more likely to be second due to Chelsea grinding out results, you have an outside shot at fourth, though it's not very realistic, I think you'll end up 5th, maybe 6th.
what is ur prediction for the match?
United to win, by 1 goal only though...

Shady having read through your questions and replies, I was really impressed mate.
Great idea, congratulations pal, makes very interesting reading and must say these Manu guys seem very sensible.
Thanks for the thread, keep em going throughout the season.

At least its good to know most other fans are civil, and sensible towards us as a club
Looking forward to the Arsenal round of questions? lmao
Good questions and some pretty level headed answers, can't blame fans from backing their team to win even though a couple gave us the draw. Looks like they split 50/50 on Owen and Berbatov no surprise. Was more surprised that they all recognize the inevitability of Man City success, guess they can all remember when they were the 'big' money team.

Well done Shady, that was a crackin thread mate, love reading the views of oppo fans, and the majority of the mancs were decent fair minded supporters imo.Good work fella, looking forward to more of the same, throughout the season

Would have sold him. He decided to go, end of the story. As far as replacing goes, he can't be replaced. Let the team replace him.
